He saw that dog become what he raised him to be and yet he got rid of him because he had to. How much more humane is it for a person to throw away their dog. It must have hurt him so much since he saw his puppy become the dog he raised. I once had a puppy too, I adopted a puppy, a Chihuahua from the shelter. When I brought him home my mother, who I live with, was very angry because she doesn't like dogs. She also doesn't like dogs in the house. She is not allergic to them or anyone in my family, she just didn't want the dog in or out of the house. I was very angry because he asked me to get rid of it. I myself didn't have the courage to do it and I wasn't even going to get rid of an innocent little dog that had nowhere else to go. One day, as I was walking home from school, I noticed that Pete, my dog, wasn't out in the driveway waiting for me. Which was strange so I went into the house and noticed he wasn't barking when I came in and to my surprise my mom got rid of him. She gave it as a gift to a friend who is also passionate about animals. The example I gave reminds me of Turgenev and Marx. Turgenev represents myself and Marx represents my mother in mine
