My interest is in the field of Public Ethics. I have a background in Human Resources Management and Industrial and Labor Relations. There is a close correlation between ethics and human resources management. Areas such as; training and development, hiring, compensation, personal development, monitoring and enforcement of standards and values, human resource management policies should create an environment conducive to ethical behavior. The program is also a good fit for me because it prepares me for the ethical challenges faced by human resources professionals and the role expected of me in assisting organizations and individuals to achieve high ethical standards. Finally, I come from a country where our ethical standard is relatively low within the public sector. I look forward to completing my program in Public Ethics and being able to play a role in our democratic development and public administration by providing recommendations, consultations, organizing workshops and seminars for public sector departments to maintain and improve our ethical standards . Communication and interpersonal skills; I communicate effectively in both writing and speaking. I have experience training employees, delivering presentations, and communicating effectively and efficiently with clients. This would help the public ethics program if you were a responsible thinker, a better decision maker, developing relationships and community, advocating for truthfulness, accuracy and honesty. Networking is a powerful tool for learning, giving and connecting with others. During my postgraduate program at Conestoga College, I joined both professional and volunteer groups. We discussed ways we can improve communities through our various programs and beyond. Still at the College, halfway through the work... of my research, I would identify what causes and constitutes a conflict of interest and I would analyze the ethical criteria to be applied and the solutions. Ethical management is another area I will pursue in my research. In engaging in management and business activities, ethics is considered an absolute priority. It is relevant to business survival and reputation. In many managerial situations, maintaining appropriate ethics in an organization can be considered complicated. Ethical issues within the organization range from; administration, recruitment and promotion, compensation, organizational policies, legal considerations etc. I plan to research the various obstacles and options that managers may face while leading an ethical company in the business world. I will analyze ethical management models and approaches and examine the components of effective ethical management.
