In this essay/report I will explain to the best of my ability my possible career path. I wanted to be many things. In first grade I wanted to be a superhero and that hope was extinguished for a while. Later, when I was 10 years old, my brain started having new ideas, exploring the world around me, thinking about other things besides cartoons and I thought to myself, how the hell am I going to become a superhero ? I started thinking about other jobs like firefighter, policeman, engineer, construction worker etc. Etc. But then I decided it wasn't good. Then one day, while I was watching an interview on TV, a firefighter was being interviewed and one of the questions was: How long did it take you to decide what you wanted to be? And he said it for a long time. Then I wondered how long it would be, I wanted to jump on the TV and ask the guy how long it would be. Hmm, I asked myself, how long is long and then I answered my own question. “It will take a long time until it is a long time, I have nothing to worry about.” That question just flew out of my mind until the beginning of eighth grade, when I encountered this question again and answered it. It took some time and some research, but I answered. When I grow up I want to become a neurosurgeon. What is surgery? Surgery comes from Greek and Latin: it means "manual work". Surgery is an ancient medical procedure that uses specific techniques on a patient to investigate and treat a small or serious condition such as an illness or injury. Surgery can be used for several reasons; some might serve to improve body function or appearance, and some perhaps for religious reasons. There are many types of surgeries (e.g. neurological, cardiac, plastic, oral, podiatric etc. etc.). The surgery originally began in France in the 16th century, but was very rarely used. This French surgery was also performed for minor uses only. Surgery was very risky back then and only a few patients survived. Now you might be thinking, what kind of doctors were those idiots, but think again, does surgery only need a very educated surgeon? The simple answer is no. The reason or should I say the main reason was the tools.
