Of course, many psychologists define attachment as a lasting affectionate bond that a person forms between himself and another person throughout his life. Since Mary Ainsworth provided the most famous research: Strange Situation, offering explanations on how each individual differs in attachment. However, in this adult attachment style questionnaire that I filled out, I found many factors relevant to attachment as it was defined in the textbook. For example, in the textbook, based on Ainsworth research, attachment is defined, the strange situation obtained by observing the forms of attachment between mother and child. They are described in four attachment styles: securely attached, insecurely avoidant, insecurely resistant, and insecurely disorganized. The questions in the questionnaire were based on those areas to determine my attachment style. According to the Adult Attachment Style Questionnaire, my attachment style was in the secure region.
