When looking for child care for their children, most people consider facilities, program activities, and child-to-adult ratios. Even more important, however, is the type of workers who work in a child care facility. There are a few main types of workers in a daycare, and not all of them are good. I found out the hard way that there are different levels of care and attention given to children. People want the best for their children, so it is important to understand these types of guardians. Within my daycare, I see different types of workers, but I find the most common are those who desperately need work, the indifferent robot, the unaware filler, the interested but non-pursuing, and the sincere. The desperate need of a working class concerns those workers who do not personally care for children and are not interested in a future with children. These operators are quite affectionate towards the children they work with, but their interest is only external. They spend time with the children as they should because they need an income, but no bond is created. At my daycare, Sheila is always polite, but never shows any deep interest in the children. He talks to kids about very vague things and doesn't really try to teach them anything. Of course, daycare workers aren't hired to teach, but when a child spends most of their days in daycare, that is their primary source of learning. Practitioners should not necessarily teach children everything all the time, but should integrate learning done outside of nursery. The unwitting filler is a daycare worker who doesn't actually belong to a daycare. Similar to "desperately needs a job", the unaware filler doesn't want to make a career with their kids or have a person...... middle of paper......th Sophia and several times a week takes the time to comb all the little girls. Make ribbon ponytails for the girls and comb their hair as an activity. The heartfelt category can be difficult to find, but it always ends up being beneficial to a child. When it comes to daycare, the adult-child ratio and the size of the facility are very important. However, the workers of a nursery are certainly the constituent elements of its functioning. The categories listed seem harsh, but many daycare centers go to great lengths to hire the best help possible. Although there are different types of people, daycare could essentially be a wise choice for a child. Choosing a daycare is a difficult task for any parent and will never necessarily be a perfect choice for a child, but being able to recognize the type of help in a daycare can greatly benefit you in making this decision..
