The perfect example of this is demonstrated greatly by young people who are students and show up to class with everything prepared and ready to go, with last night's homework in hand until you give it to your teacher or professor. But unfortunately there are students who don't even take responsibility for the task, not even to show up at school. Everyone, regardless of their age, will have a different type of maturity level. Some kids of a certain age will also take on the responsibility of a part-time job at a young age even though they will also be full-time students. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (2016), surveyed 5,000 people ages 16 to 19 and older whether they had a full-time job, part-time job, or were unemployed. It was found that approximately 70% of these people worked full-time or part-time (Table 8).
