Twitter was born as a team effort in March 2006 (Carlson, 2011). The true story of how Twitter was created is by an individual named Noah Glass. He is an entrepreneur and started Odeo, a product where a person could call a phone number and it would turn into an MP3 message. There has been speculation whether Evan Williams was the creator of Twitter, but the real creator is Noah Glass. Evan Williams was a former Google employee who was an investor in Odeo and heavily involved in the program and eventually moved the startup program into his old apartment. Later, moving towards the inventions of Twitter, there were other people like web designer Jack Dorsey; Engineer Blaine Cook; and German developer Florian Weber. In July 2005, a situation occurred where Apple announced iTunes and included podcasting platform, such as Odeo program (Carlson, 2011). When Apple introduced this invention, it killed the Odeo product in the industry. So Odeo's future wasn't in podcasting and then they had ideas to start Twitter. The system would send a message to a number and broadcast it to all friends as Twttr. They all agreed that Noah was the main creator of the project to be started and Blaine Cook called Noah the “spiritual leader” behind Twitter (Carlson, 2011).
