Here we are, packing our bags under the beautiful, warm, gentle sun. The fragrant flowers of May bloom. The huge amount of supplies ends up in the back of our big white van. Everyone's face has a sincerely longing smile. I look at my mother's smile and I can swear it's as open as a crocodile's. We are taking a family trip to Florida. We all get into the big white van. “Let's go to Florida” is pretty much the only thing I hear anyone say the entire trip. The journey will take forever! The van is all cramped and sweaty. I toss and turn all the time. The trip will last all day, all night and even longer! For now I'm stuck in the seat with my little sister named Alexis. He has dark blonde hair (you could easily mistake it for brown) and blue eyes. He's five years old, almost six. It really bothers me that she has so much room in the tan seats of the van, and I'm almost one and a half times her size. "Move!" is what we constantly say. "No, you move." "No, you move!" I fall asleep as we reach the tip of South Carolina. When I wake up the next morning, the sun's rays are just streaming through the window of our van. The sun is rising and turns a pale yellow. I ask my parents: "Are we there yet?" They answer me: "Almost, man." We are finally in Florida! But before the fun can begin, we need to do other things. We have to take my grandfather to our relatives in Miami. So, now we have to drive 4 hours from Orlando to Miami, cramped in the white van. When we finally get to Florida, it's over 40 degrees outside! We enter the living space of our relatives (is it a condominium or an apartment). We decide to have lunch in a place...... middle of paper...... without feeling the taste of salt water in my mouth or the burning sensation in my body (strangely, I miss it a little). The next few days they are the same. We spend time on the beach or by the pool. Soon it's time to go home. All our suitcases are ready. We load the van and then leave to go home. The ride home is pretty quiet. We stop a couple of times and my mom always says, “We're almost there, guys.” Well, after many, many exhausting hours, we finally arrive home! The trip is over and it was amazing. I can't believe how much fun this was. I unpack my stuff from the inside surface of the van. I walk along the stone sidewalk and reach the wooden front door. I wait for my parents to open it, then I come home and smell the familiar smell of my house. I'll settle down. I take off my clothes and put on new ones. I settle down and go to sleep soon. The trip is over and it was amazing.
