INTRODUCTION Teaching software as a motivational tool in teaching the English language. Time has passed and foreign language teaching has developed, especially in the teaching of English. Among the most significant progress can be found: the determination of teachers to trust in their own resources, the right to choose their own meeting point between theory and practice and to seek pedagogical solutions to problems. A topic still under discussion is that of motivation. English has become an indispensable communication tool all over the world, there is a proliferation of methods and teaching texts; from the one created in 1580 called The English Schoolmaster to teach the French community of London, up to the Spectrum (Costinett, 1994) defined and used 400 years later as a communicative English course and many others. The theory and practice of his teaching, as well as the methods and means used have progressed significantly. This improvement has come with the use of cutting edge technology. This refers to the use of technical means in teaching, conceived today as one of the current trends. This is developing at very high speed and, at the same time, science and technology. Educational Technology, which is one of the names that has been given to this trend (Januszewski, 2008), has acquired considerable diffusion nowadays, due to the emphasis on its immediate benefits and a highly technical and assertive language, its focus is more on methods and means than on contents. Their origins may lie in programmed teaching to improve the efficiency of the educational process whose creation could be attributed to Burrhus F...... middle of paper ......illa, C., Santini, S. , Haya , P.
