Topic > Aspects of racism - 2364

Today we live in a multicultural society, which means that a nation is made up of different ethnic groups, with different cultures. But why was there xenophobia and racial hatred among peoples and why does it still exist? What is truly “foreign” and what effect does it have on youth and young adults. And the most important question is: what is racism? In the course of my essay I will examine these questions. First, I would like to define the term racism in general and talk about its characteristics: racism is an ideology that uses the real or fictitious differences between two ethnic groups to the advantage of the Public Prosecutor and to the detriment of the victims. Racism wants victims to attribute all kinds of bad properties, to demonstrate their negativity and at the same time show the positivism of the accusation. Racism is an absolute ideology, because it explains differences definitively and in general. For example, all black people are always inferior to the white population in terms of mental capacity. This attitude always causes, therefore, a hierarchy in society. It justifies and legitimizes an injustice against the victim group. We distinguish different types of racism. Biological racism refers, as the name suggests, to biological differences (skin color, skull shape, etc.). A racist abuses biology to devalue his victims. Cultural racism exploits cultural differences. It can be said that biological and psychological racism are always found in combined form. This obviously creates an absolute society. It should be noted that the term racism in the context of its definition is confusing and incorrect, because in reality it suggests that it is exclusively the devaluation of another... half of the paper... they can only stay in poor housing, a sort of ghetto would be inevitable, so natives consider foreigners an even greater threat. Added to this social integration is the cultural imperative. Of course, one cannot be achieved without the other. Cultural integration is not the complete assimilation of immigrants but can be defined as the acceptance of cultural differences by agreeing on a common culture (common language, common education, ...). At the end of my essay I would like to remind you that we should all fight against racism. By isolating one ethnic group from another, we prevent “fresh blood from flowing into this.” Therefore a process of degeneration is inevitable. We should also fight it, because racism is definitely against the highest human rights and is also a danger to the entire humanity.
