Greening is used as a process of pursuing knowledge and practices with the aim of being more environmentally friendly and improving decision making and lifestyle in a more environmentally responsible way, this can lead to environmental protection and sustainability of natural resources for current and future generations. If adapted to an institution's educational and training activities, it could lead to a systematic process of change. The process of establishing a greener TVET institution invites people to engage in approaches that seek to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes that can lead to more sustainable practices in the community, workplace and other contexts where knowledge and skills could be applied. It can also lead to obtaining professional qualifications that reflect environmentally friendly skills to carry out tasks. In the context of the implementation of the UNESCO Global Program of Action on ESD (Education for Sustainable Development), UNESCO-UNEVOC promotes the implementation of Greening TVET. It has the general objective of supporting policies and institutional capacities; transform learning and training environments that can impact immediate communities and their needs; and respond to the needs of institutional leaders, principals, educational leaders, teachers and
