It also forced me to think deeply about the work other groups were doing throughout the term and how that helped make this exhibition successful. This reflection also made me think about my life as an immigrant and how different my life would be if my mother, brother, and I were undocumented. Interacting with them about their experiences of being undocumented and hearing how undocumented people played an important role in their lives made me question my beliefs and actions a lot. I am more aware of how sensitive this topic can be. However, I also feel more comfortable entering spaces that cater to these people. I feel comfortable being there because I understand the importance of hearing their stories through their perspectives and not through filtered media
