Topic > Civil Unrest in Ukraine - 1070

Civil unrest affects many countries around the world. Civil unrest is occurring in Ukraine requiring the government to act according to the laws of their kingdom or be removed from office. The Ukrainian government is trying to reach an agreement with the assistance of the United Nations to change the laws. Both the Ukrainian government and Ukrainian citizens are becoming very impatient and fearful in the process and are using a sense of liberalism, realism and constructivism to find a way to manage the beliefs of both sides. Ukrainian citizens have called for the dismissal of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and the government according to the New York Times (Herszenhorn and Kramer 2013). The Ukrainian Parliament refused to take action to impeach government officials, while many protesters occupied and seized City Hall and the Cabinet of Ministers office building and refused to allow these officials entry. Herszenhorn and Kramer also noted that there is a plan to block the presidential administration and deny entry to the seat of the Ukrainian government. According to the New York Times, "From the start of the demonstrations on November 22, many protesters, especially students, were skeptical that elected officials would respond to their demands, which were a response to Yanukovych's decision not to sign political agreements and far-reaching trade agreements with the European Union that have been in the works for years” (Herszenhorn and Kramer 2013). The parties most involved in the protest process include student organizations, civic organizations and a total of three radical opposition political parties that are leading. the demonstration in front of the government headquarters...... half of the paper ..... .they have it as constructivists. Gallenmore also notes in the interview: “It is not possible to have an international policy without a series of ideas” (Gallenmore 2011). It appears that the protesters have ideals that would benefit their lives and are demanding government action to listen to their ideals or be removed from office. With this civil unrest in Ukraine, both the government and citizens are trying to take control of a civil liberties situation. Both government officials and citizens are returning to fear, liberalism, realism and constructivism to avoid a civil war in the region. The government is asking for help from the UN negotiations to find a fair solution to the legislative changes. Protesters are growing impatient and demanding the dismissal of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and the government.
