Introduction:Today, renewable energy is used in many forms. It exists in various energy forms such as solar energy, wind energy and water energy. Solar energy is one of the best among these energies, so we can benefit from it in many purposes and ways, such as in the case of solar cars. Currently, solar cars are available in many countries. As they have many benefits and advantages. Therefore, in this essay I will talk about the solar car, its components, its advantages and disadvantages, and the development of solar cars. The solar car and its components Solar cars are vehicles used for land transport. It is an electric vehicle powered by solar energy obtained from solar panels. It consists of solar cells, battery and its body. solar energy solar energy is the source on which the solar car depends for its energy like other devices that run on solar energy. Indeed, we cannot benefit directly from solar panels, but we use solar panels or photovoltaic panels, consisting of hundreds or thousands of solar cells arranged in an orderly manner. These panels collect sunlight and convert it into electricity. The solar cell is made of semiconductor materials such as silicon and alloys of indium, gallium and nitrogen. Its efficiency can reach 20%. This percentage is converted into electrical energy from the total solar energy falling on the panels. Electric current is generated during the energy movement between the layers of solar cells. Batteries When the solar car is moving the electric current is transferred directly to the electric motor.
