I chose the planet Jupiter because it is the largest of all the planets. It's a gas planet and I like that about this planet. The diameter is 88,846 miles or 142,984 km. The planet Jupiter completes one orbit in 4,333 planet Earth days or nearly 12 Earth years. Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system, almost as large as a gas planet can be. It is also one of the brightest objects in the sky, it is known that at night it is the brightest "star" after Venus. The four moons are also visible from earth with binoculars.
