Millennials stay connected to each other through the use of text messaging, instant messaging, and social networking primarily because we can communicate 24/7 with those who do not they can always be with them us face to face. Technology has become more than just information on the Internet: we now use it for entertainment, medical purposes, communication and retail sourcing. With our busy lives, technology allows us to save time through online shopping. In 2013, 86% of young people aged between 16 and 24 used online shopping as a convenient alternative to wandering the high street. People can thank these technological advances for helping us live longer, healthier lives with medical technology improving every day, such as robotic checkups and wearable health monitors that can be connected wirelessly to a smartphone, something that Previous generations would have only imagined. To combine health and technology, 54% of Millennials will purchase a body analysis device to monitor their weight, body fat, blood pressure, etc. Millennials are more willing to spend more money on fitness equipment to maintain their health than any previous generation which shows how much our views on health have improved. We no longer want unhealthy diets and rigid gym routines, we want to plan ahead for healthy meals and fun, social exercises. So technology cannot be considered a disadvantage to us in any way, shape or form
