Solving the foreclosure crisis America is currently facing would be no easy task. It is well known that even the brightest minds in our country cannot find a solution. However, I think the problem could be solved through better advertising. The public, especially those who are still employed and earning money, could benefit from knowing that homes currently in foreclosure are selling for much lower prices than they would normally go for. Those who are still employed and plan to remain so during the current recession would most likely consider upgrading to a larger home if they knew that right now is the ideal time to buy, before another spike in the marketing. The economy works in cycles, anyone can tell you we need to learn from our history. We are going through a recession right now, millions of people are unemployed. However, that doesn't mean the world is ending. The economy will recover, some financiers even believe that we are already in the recovery phase. When a house goes into foreclosure, the bank that made the loan on that house usually tries to sell it for as little as possible so that it doesn't have to continue making payments on the house. If people who are still employed knew about it – since it wouldn't necessarily be considered public knowledge – they would most likely take action to buy the house. America sells itself through advertising. If a product is presented to us in an attractive way, regardless of what it is, we want to buy it. There's really no solution for people who can no longer afford their homes. No new jobs are created and homes simply cost money. There's really no way around people who don't have the money to pay them...... middle of paper......re. Unfortunately we cannot generate new money for those who don't have it. Home payments can only be made so low, and unemployed people can only overspend their dollars. For this reason, we must find the solution to the houses that remain empty, while banks and borrowers shell out payments on them. The solution to those empty homes while they're being paid for is to enlighten the public about how much cheaper it actually is to buy a home today, compared to before the economy crashed and after it recovered. The time to buy foreclosed homes is limited, it is inevitable that the economy will improve soon. If homes were purchased now, even if they are cheap, thousands of dollars could be saved. If the public were aware of this, especially if it were advertised more widely and attractively, the foreclosure problem would certainly be greatly improved..
