Philosophy is an activity of thought and a study of wisdom. While not everyone can understand or understand philosophy, they have their own philosophical perspective or worldview. A “worldview” is a “commitment, a fundamental orientation of the heart, which can be expressed as a story or as a set of assumptions we have about the basic constitution of reality, and which provides the foundation on which we live and let's move." and have our being" (Sire, 20). Worldviews consist of a primary reality, a nature of external reality, a definition of being human, an explanation of what happens to human beings when they die, an explanation of how it is possible to know anything, an explanation of how beings humans know wrong from the beginning and an explanation of the meaning of human history. Primary reality is what someone believes to be “really real” in the world, while external reality is the surrounding world. There are numerous worldviews, many of which do not have a name. The “best” view of the world depends on what a person perceives as “best”. Although some people may find parts or aspects of other worldviews that they like. My worldview is a combination of new age, traditional theism, naturalism and theistic existentialism called new theistic natural existentialism. This worldview can be continually debated. Here there will be assessments of other worldviews. They will include objections, agreements and interesting points. In evaluating other worldviews, I have found my own objections to new theistic natural existentialism and counterarguments to my own worldview. My Worldview At the beginning of philosophy, the primary reality was God and remains so for some philosophies. This worldview for... middle of paper... you won't find the answer you're looking for and vice versa. The beginning of human knowledge was the recognition of the existence of God and then the study of nature, which reflected the work of God. God created the system that is the cosmos and at the same time is a part of it. Conclusion Neotheistic natural existentialism is a combination of other philosophies and is my perspective of the world. There will be people who agree with this worldview and others who disagree with it. Individually there are specific parts of my worldview that people will appreciate or find interesting. It's all a matter of perspective and everyone has their own worldview, regardless of whether it has become an official philosophy or not. Works CitedWorks CitedSire, James W. (2009).
