“We will, and I'm sure Toronto will be fine; he is an intelligent dog. They begin walking along the beach towards the shops when suddenly they hear faint barking. Anna's face lights up with hope. As they quickly turn toward the shore, running with anticipation, they hear it again. Steve proudly exclaims, “I know that bark!” "Me too! Me too!" Sure enough, as Steve looks up at the sandy beach, he sees Toronto bounding towards them with his tongue hanging out and his tail wagging in excitement. As they reunite, tears of joy and relief roll down Anna's face. “Thank God you're okay,” the couple gasps at the same time. Steve quickly secures Toronto's collar and leash. “You also figured we might find him right where he ran off.” Anna giggled. “Sometimes having a little faith that things will be okay is better than immersing yourself in worry. In any case, I'm happy to have found him and that he's safe now." They immediately decide to be more careful about keeping the dog on a leash and decide to enjoy the rest of the morning walking around Toronto along the streets of Toronto.
