Childbirth is a biological, psychological and natural activity through which the human species grows in its family cycle and childbirth also has a sexual tradition. Beyond the emotions and the various phases it creates, childbirth has specific criteria to be respected in both men and women. Their union must be based on mutual love, biological and psychological maturation and a developed sense of responsibility. For this reason, a pregnancy that occurs early in life is becoming a situation full of social, economic and psychological difficulties. The pain of childbirth soon weighs on the young and premature couple. In the United States, teenage pregnancies between the ages of 15 and 19 remain one of the most serious situations in the modern world. It had little chance of success because many teenagers are still becoming parents and this problem is steadily increasing in the Latino community. Immigration, peer pressure, high school dropout rate, cultural difference and economic disadvantages are the main reasons behind the majority of teenage pregnancies in this community. After explaining why it is important to reduce the rate of teen pregnancy, I will suggest some challenging but doable solutions to break the cycle of unplanned pregnancies. Before any explanation, let's talk about what causes teen pregnancy in the Latino/Hispanic group. In fact, the majority of undocumented immigrants (57%) come from Mexico and 24% from Latin America. Among them, 35% are young women and 15% are children because children born in the United States are granted citizenship by the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution (PewHispanic.com). So, with this amendment we clearly understand why many children living in families headed by undocumented Hispanics and Latinos....... at the heart of the document ...... are affected.
