In the history of America, Black Americans experience more disadvantages than any other race. Back when slavery was acceptable to society, Black Americans experienced the worst situation. Black Americans have no dignity and no right over their lives. Prejudice and discrimination against black Americans were intense, and the police and white Americans were on the same side in suppressing the freedom and human rights of black Americans. Those extreme circumstances left Black Americans with only two choices: be the oppressed for the rest of their lives or stand up and fight for freedom, equality and human rights. Throughout the years of the black freedom movement, many influential and successful black leaders rose up from the struggle and helped rebuild the trust of the oppressed.
