During my research in several articles on asthma I increased my knowledge on the pathophysiology of asthma, signs and symptoms, assessments, medications, products and drugs related to the disease. I also learned more about the care plan to manage asthma for a patient and deepened my knowledge about the multidisciplinary team where all the specialized healthcare professionals work together to help the patient provide holistic care and lifestyle healthy. I also became aware of the community help that the patient can get based on his needs such as home care, cooking and meals on wheels. I also gained my knowledge to develop nursing diagnoses based on objective and subjective patient data, as well as how to develop short- and long-term goals along with rationales and assessments. This study was an excellent source of information for me to help patients with respiratory problems much better. In the end, during my self-evaluation, I am very confident about the asthma diagnosis, side effects, prevention measures and risks
