With the development of science and technology, our lives depend on digital products much more than in previous decades. What has the digital age brought to people? Digital activities help us in many fields, from daily life to scientific research, from automated production to school learning. We can get timely information from all over the world via the Internet; we can shop online at home instead of going out; also we can trade with others using some trading software. If we lived without digital activities, what would life be like? It would not be efficient or convenient for us to keep in touch with our friends without cell phones. However, everything has two aspects. The digital age has a great influence on people's communication. They talk to each other less and make friends online. They alienated the relationship in real life. It is obvious that the digital age has advantages and disadvantages in relationships between people. According to "Born Digital: Understanding the First Generation of Digital Natives", John Palfrey and Urs Gasser explain that "all of them are "digital natives". born after 1980; all have access to networked digital technologies; all have the skills to use hose technologies." He explains that "digital natives" studying, working and interacting with each other are different from our old style. They meet friends online instead of meeting in person and listen to music online instead of from a CD player. For these reasons I define myself as a "digital native". I remembered that I was a middle school student when I had my first digital experience. This was in my computer class, my computer teacher taught us what computer is and how to access the internet...... middle of paper...... correctly, we will definitely get a lot of benefits.Works CitedDiVall, Margarita V. and Jennifer L.
